The cottage we stayed in was a charming converted barn, offering a peaceful retreat in a picturesque location. the one bedroom layout with a studio living room and well-stocked kitchen made for a comfortable stay. the wood burner added a cozy touch, especially during the winter months. However, the place could benefit from some modernization, as the bathroom was a bit chilly and the drainage in the wet room needed improvement. the central heating helped keep us warm, but the immersion heater timer was a bit confusing. The location was convenient for exploring nearby towns like Malmesbury and Cirencester, with easy access to walking paths and dog-friendly pubs. the cottage offered basic amenities like Wi-Fi and a TV, although we brought our own entertainment for the kids. Overall, the value proposition was good for the price, making it a suitable option for a relaxing getaway.
